Having not known the AP Art Studio class requirements that I had to do 5 summer work pieces, I quickly scrambled in a single night to cram out a thing or two. This was one of them. I was so desperate, I did resort to very desperate measures. Each one of the 5 pieces we had to make had a certain requirement. They were simple. I had to create a piece on each of the following: Line, Space, Motion, Texture, Mood/Self Portrait.

I was going to resort to some of the old work I already did. But not too old. In the end, I really needed something for Space, Motion and the Mood/Self Portrait. This here picture... I would qualify for space even if it lacks a background, I think the massive perspective is dynamic enough. I ran across the image on 4scrape. Dang I love that site. =-= It's a life saver and full of inspirations. >.> Check it out.

But any how, the picture I found [link] only knowing it came from Soul Eater from the brief description, I did base my image heavily off of it (I don't follow fads, so no real clue what Soul Eater is all about. Hear its big though.) So heavily in fact, that I traced a lot of it; everything but the legs, head and some really minor parts of the gun. Since my friend assured me, that without the 5 pieces done, I would be screwed and I had only a matter of a few hours to complete the assignments. I didn't even bothered to sketch it out, which is something I would've done traditionally first and that way, I wouldn't have resorted to tracing. But there was no time for that. Also I suck at drawing guns. u_u I admit.

One of these days, I plan on recreating this from true complete scratch.

In the end though, I tried to make the piece as much as "me" as it could have been. I fell back on using Contessa again and his sweet sweet argyle pants. Total B.A. I couldn't pass up the screenshot. I mean pinky trigger? That is like L awesome weird.
